Hi, this is not my typical content but wanted to throw this in there so you can follow along if this is something you are also interested in doing. I started my TPT store many years ago in 2020 but never put a lot of time into it. I was working with adults and always thought it was a place for kids materials.

However, as I research further I realize there is a place for everyone on there! Once, I realized this I started to get more serious about my store. These stats will walk you through the last 9 months since I started to take things more seriously.

Wahoo.. $33! LOL And my take home earning were $17.34. Right now I have 13 resources in my store for speech therapy for adults. I did have 50 items but they were geared towards kids so I did a rebrand. My poor store has gone through a lot of changes but I am sticking with this new rebrand, geared towards speech therapy for adults.

Something else I have done to increase the amount I will take home from my store is upgraded to the premium membership. This means I will take home 80% of my earnings in the future.

Transparency about money is SO important in our field! This can be done in a classy manner. You can refrain from asking your co-workers directly in the office, but reach out to other SLPs in your state, in your field and start inquiring. This is important because some of use are severly underpaid and have no idea! One thing about the field is that the rate has not gone up but the cost of living has- So what are we going to do about it!?
